and demolition covering the whole stock was agreed. By 2005 the last of Thenew's tenants was transferred into a brand new house. Thenew is an old Glasgow name - she was the mother of Mungo, the patron saint of Glasgow. Later, she became better known as Enoch- as in St Enoch's Square.
