Taken in the late autumn sunshine the refurbished Gantock Crescent presents a bright and welcoming front to passers-by on the Edinburgh Road.

Taken from this view point, the degree of change to Cranhill is hidden. Behind the camera, further up Blairtummock Road, the Queenslie scheme suffered a crueller fate. Completely demolished, its presence is preserved only in street names - Horndean, Lonmay and Penston (and Blairtummock).
