Taken in the late autumn sunshine the refurbished Gantock Crescent presents a bright and welcoming front to passers-by on the Edinburgh Road.
Bellrock Court Reunion
Former residents of Bellrock Court from far and wide met in the hall of St Maria Goretti's Church on the evening of 12th June 2010. Around 100 people turned up to meet old friends and to share memories. The event was universally deemed a great success and plans are already underway for a repeat some time in the future.
Kathleen Everly (ms O'Brien), who now lives in Florida was unable to be present captured the mood of the evening in an e-mail. " I heard the night was a great success and fun had by all.......Great people and the spirit lives on. They can take down the buildings, destroy the area - but not the heart or the memories of the people who grew up there".
